I wish the show could get more att...Great article. I wish the show could get more attention from major news outlets and the Emmys.<BR/><BR/>You're right, last night's episode was a great one. I think it says something about the quality of show (which has been in the toilet up until recently) that I am often dismayed at the choices made by these fictional characters. I think you're article makes a valid point about personal politics. For example, my liberal sensibilities are often taken aback by the complete disregard for Cylon life. They are referred to as "toasters" and "machines" even though they bleed just like humans. The Cylon-hybrid baby is called a "thing" and "it," while Roslin actually contemplates killing it! Which is what sets this show apart from something like <I>Star Trek</I>, in which the more liberal viewpoint would get greater play. However, in the end, these characters almost always make the "correct" choice. As in last night's episode: the Cylons might think the baby is dead, but Roslin chose instead to put the child into the hands of what we hope is a good mother. Great show!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
