Bill O'Reilly Beats Bob Woodward

When Bill O'Reilly had Bob Woodward on his talk show, O'Reilly joked that he was angry Woodward would keep him from having a #1 book. But for once, O'Reilly will happily admit he's wrong. The latest New York Times bestseller list has O'Reilly debuting at #1 with his new tome "Culture Warrior" and Woodward debuting at #2 with his heavily hyped, revelation-heavy "State of Denial." Interestingly, the wife of VP candidate John Edwards debuts at #4 with her memoir about battling breast cancer. (And just to balance things out, U2 on U2 debuts at #7.)

On the fiction list, Cormac McCarthy's wildly acclaimed post-apocalyptic novel "The Road" debuts at #4, surely a record for him. And perhaps whimsical mystery author Alexander McCall Smith has overextended his franchise with one too many different series: his latest book is already down to #20.

Totally understandable. And funny. O'Reilly would definitely whip Woodward in a fight.
