A goofy, engaging guy,
Steve Irwin was one of my earliest interviews for the NY Post. He died in a "freak" accident, though obviously Irwin spent his entire career putting himself into harm's way where a freak accident might occur. Sad, though at 44 he certainly hadn't wasted a moment of his life.
