The War On Christmas Continues
I've been innocently making a Christmas mix CD -- surely that's the last place you'd expect another salvo in the war on Christmas. But I was glancing in the liner notes of George Winston's "December," a holiday perennial that includes songs like "Jesus, Jesus, Rest Your Head" and Pachelbel's Kanon, among other overtly religious pieces, when I suddenly noticed this note from Winston: "The traditional pieces were chosen for their appropriateness as instrumental music for this project. They were not meant to convey any personal religious beliefs." Heaven forbid! Heathen.
