At The Watercooler: "Battlestar Galactica"

What a great show. I love how it plays with our sympathies. SciFi buffs tend to be liberal and here we are cheering on a show where the lead characters decide assassination is justified. Next week they're apparentlty going to mess with our thoughts on abortion.

Oh reader Caren in Champaign was wondering when last night's episode would be available on iTunes. If a show is in their store, new episodes become available the day after they air. "Resurrection Ship, Part 2" is out now, some 14 hours after the show aired. I wonder, does it pop up after midnight, early in the morning or what? We'll have to pay attention next time.

I think you're right, but don't they usually make the what some might say is the correct decision? Adama initiates a coup of the Roslin administration, but after his near-death experience comes to realize it was a very bad decision and chooses instead to work with her. Adama orders Starbuck to kill Cain, but in the end decides its the wrong decision; Cain decides the same thing. The writers tweak with our emotions, but to my thinking they are trying to shine a light on the bad decisions a group of well-meaning people can make when their world and the people they love are destroyed.

You're right. Still, were you rooting for Starbuck to succeed or for her to ignore the immoral order Adama gave her? And thanks for stoping by. The first 1000 visitors geta free....well, a free "Thanks."

In his quarters? Some area he can claim is quarantined? In plain sight since they don't know that model is a Cylon? Good question.
