"Boston Legal" Open Thread

I've never been a fan of creator David E. Kelley -- didn't like "Picket Fences," "Ally McBeal," or "Chicago Hope" or darn near anything he's done since introducing Neil Patrick Harris to the world via "Doogie." (Thanks for that one, David.)

And certainly "Boston Legal" is too quirky by half, though the excellent actors Kelley recruits (William Shatner, James Spader and Candice Bergen) invariably deliver some great moments.

But tonight is noteworthy: Michael J. Fox begins a four episode arc as a wealthy businessman with cancer who used his influence to get an experimental drug -- and the guy who ended up with a placebo is suing.
