"Jake's Progress" Open Thread

Is he actually making any progress? Jake's gone through multiple delays, a radical revamping of the show's format and a timeslot switch. Star John Stamos has charm (I thought his last series -- "Thieves" -- was a keeper a la "Hart To Hart") but maybe he would have been better off with that offer of a slot on "ER." Discuss.
