"House" and "Gilmore Girls" picked up right where they left off, Craig Ferguson was more Leno than Letterman as the host of the People's Choice Awards," "Scrubs" did so-so but probably not enough to give it new life, Geena Davis stumbled just a tad on "Commander in Chief" and Michael J. Fox brought a little spark to "Boston Legal." But the biggest hit of the night? Your parents' favorite show, "NCIS."
As for the People's Choice Awards, apparenlty the people are none too bright. "Star Wars Episode II: Revenge of the Sith" as Best Movie. Whatever. But as Best Movie -- Drama as well? Please. Jay Leno as favorite late night talk show host? He's about the fifth best late night talk show host, depending on where you rank Jimmy Kimmel. At least they voted "My Name Is Earl" and "Prison Break" as favorite new shows.
