Apparently, Heather Graham isn't the next Carrie Bradshaw. Her ABC sitcom "Emily's Reasons Why Not" was dead on arrival, as was the return of John Stamos in "Jake In Progress." (Maybe that gig on "ER" is still available to him?) ABC is ready for some football -- but it ain't to be.
Not to fear for Graham -- she has two movies in the works, including the return of Emilio Estevez as the director of "Bobby," the story of the assassination of Bobby Kennedy. The movie also stars Anthony Hopkins, Sharon Stone, Elijah Wood, Lindsay Lohan, Demi Moore, Laurence Fishburne, Mos Def and many others, so consider us officially excited.
"The Bachelor in Paris" will be around for a while. But the night belonged to CBS and its sitcoms, especially the almost-really-good "How I Met Your Mother."
