"Book Of Daniel" -- Timid Advertisers Stay Away

It wasn't bad enough that the new NBC drama "The Book of Daniel" got off to a slow start with views. (That's the show starring Aidan Quinn as a man of the cloth who sees visions of Jesus, deals with drug use and homosexuality in his family, etc.) Now Mediaweek is reporting that "Daniel" only featured half the usual number of commercials -- only 12.5 minutes over the two hour premiere. Apparently, timid advertisers stayed away in droves.
