Now Even Germans Make Fun Of Hitler

We've been making fun of Nazis since at least "Modern Times" and "The Producers" and "Hogan's Heroes." Now the Germans are getting into the act, with a new comedy showing Hitler getting coached by a Jewish actor from a concentration camp, with the actor taking the opportunity to make Adolph behave like a fool. This is news since it's only been a year or two since "Downfall," the German film that looked at Hitler's monstrousness in the harshest way possible: not by showing a madman or a lunatic, but by revealing him to be merely a man, with many willing accomplices.
