Vince Gill releases four albums at once
Apparently, Vince Gill took a look at the Beatles and shook his head over the crush of albums they released one after the other. (For example, "Help" came out in August of '65. "Rubber Soul" came out four months later in December of '65. "Revolver" came out nine months later in September of '66.) Why can't I do that, he wondered. So instead of whittling down a batch of 30+ songs for one album, Gill just kept on recording and now he's bundled four separate CDs and putting them all out on Tuesday. One is straight country, one a bit more rock-ish, one acoustic bluegrass and one heavy on Gill's signature ballads. The LA Times has the story.
