Super Bowl Ratings

The final numbers aren't in yet, but the Super Bowl drew about the same audience as last year, which in this day and age is a success. As for the post-game show "Criminal Minds," for some reasons families sitting around watching football didn't want to follow that by watching a show about a serial killer. This is a FAMILY event, CBS. As others pointed out, they would have been much better off to show the Super Bowl-themed episode of "How I met Your Mother." (And no, it shouldn't have been stretched to an hour or paired with another sitcom. The Super Bowl runs extremely long so a half hour sitcom would be the perfect post-game way to wind down. Huge mistake for CBS.
