Christian Bale's Neat Trick

Here's my NY Daily News profile of actor Christian Bale. His new movie "The Prestige" looks set to become the highest grossing film of his career, outside the "Batman" franchise and the Disney animated film "Pocahontas." Of course, that's not saying much since Bale has focused on quirky, indie fare like "Velvet Goldmine," "American Psycho," "Metroland" and "The New World."
