Tony Soprano Haunts Local Bike Shop

A friend -- directorboy -- just called to say Tony Soprano (aka actor james Gandolfini) was standing in front of the new bike shop in our Long Island City neighborhood. "He's a giant bear!" says my friend, who said Gandolfini loomed over the entrance. "Maybe he's got a flat tire," he said. "Is he dressed for cycling?" I asked. "No! Thank God," he replied. "I don't need to see that contour."
