"Arrested Development" Marries "Two and a Half Men"

Yep, the guy behind the coolest show on TV -- "Arrested Development" -- and the guys behind one of the quietest hits on TV -- "Two and a Half Men" -- have been friends for years and are partnering together in a new company. So be careful what shows you trash to try and score points with the "cool" guys. They just might be pals with the people you despise.

Just bring back Arrested Development, is all I'm saying!

I'd even settle for sell-out, wrap-up show a la The Office at this point. Be and SOB! Save Our Bluths!!!

I resent the words "sell-out" and "The Office" being used in the same sentence. I think you owe Ricky Gervais an apology.

Ricky would agree with me that the Christmas Special was a complete sell-out to get Tim and Dawn together and to let you know David didn't kill himself. Was Gareth still a riot? Absolutely. Was it a sell-out? No question. Would I gladly cut off my left testicle for a similar Arrested Development special? Without a doubt!

I gotta go with Pete, sort of. I woulnd't call The Christmas special a sell-out so much as an ill-advised bow to overwhelming public pressure for a few more episodes. I basically treat the 12 episodes as the series and the christmas special as a deleted scenes, bonus material. Tim and Dawn should NEVER have gotten together. It undermines the whole series.

Can't say I care much about Tim and Dawn hooking up. What I do care about is the fact that the Xmas special brought us the David Brent music video...which I think we can all agree is a good thing for humanity. It's all about breaking down barriers.

I gave a promo poster of Brent in that white suit posing like a centerfold as a Christmas gift...and I've regretted it ever since.
