Is Kevin Spacey Worth $60,000 A Week?

On Broadway, you bet. The NYPost's Michael Riedel points out that the last time Spacey was a huge draw on Broadway he was coming off an Oscar win for "American Beauty." Since then he's made a lot of flop films and skedaddled off to London to work at the Old Vic. Spacey is asking for top dollar for a limited, ten-week run in "A Moon For The Misbegotten." Yeah, it'll have to sell out to break even, but when it comes to the theater, Spacey is still a huge box office draw, especially given the rave reviews for this production in London.
