Fans of Nellie McKay should start making plans. She's starring in the Roundabout revival of "The Threepenny Opera," with a stellar cast that includes Alan Cumming, Cyndi Lauper and Jim Dale (who does the marvelous audiobook versions of "Harry Potter"). The show begins previews on March 24 and opens April 20. It only runs through June 11 -- and even if it extends, you can bet some of these people have other obligations and will be replaced.
So if you want to support McKay since she got dumped by her record label Sony (the fools), get ready to purchase some tickets to "Threepenny" when they go on sale this Sunday, January 15.
