"Secret Policeman's Ball" Coming Back
Amnesty International is reviving the Secret Policeman's Ball October 14 to bring back the spotlight to their organization. Long before the tours with Springsteen, Sting, et al,. the Policeman's Ball (arrnaged by Monty Python's John Cleese) were groundbreaking efforts to not simply raise cash but raise awareness of an issue with comics, pop stars and the like. Time for another trip to London?
