Washington Post Columnist Annoyed At Own Paper

Sports columnist Tony Kornheiser joined the ESPN Monday Night Football franchise. He just assumed his own newspaper would give him an easy time, even though it's one of the most high profile gigs in TV sports. No such luck.
In his review Tuesday, Post scribe Paul Farhi wrote that his colleague “wasn’t especially witty, provocative or insightful” and opined that Korhnheiser’s performance “was enough to make one yearn for Dennis Miller.” Kornheiser returned fire Tuesday on ESPN Radio’s The Dan Patrick Show, calling Farhi a “two-bit weasel slug” before adding, “I thought my own newspaper would be kinder and I wouldn't be back-stabbed by this guy.”
Thank goodness the Post didn't go easy. Their barbs are a lot more entertaining than the pre-season games.
