Early Bond Reviews Are In

The British critics have weighed in on the new Bond -- and they all like Daniel Craig a great deal, even if one says he has a face like an Easter Island statue. Others say it's the best Bond since "Goldeneye," which isn't saying much. Here's the Evening Standard review. I'd say it's the best since "Tomorrow Never Dies," my favorite Brosnan Bond, but I'll hold off until the early US reviews appear before saying more. I will say this: instead of discussing the theme song and the title sequence and the stunts, you'll actually be discussing the movie, and that's a big improvement already.
