Kander & Ebb's "Curtains" -- The Review

The LA premiere of Kander & Ebb's last musical was positive, I think. The Hollywood Reporter thinks this backstage murder musical starring David Hyde Pierce could very well transfer to Broadway, Pierce is terrific and so on. The only problems? "The slow-to-get-going pacing of the first act, the unclear plot exposition and the relative lack of hummable tunes...." Kind of a problem in a musical, don't you think?
