New "Batman" Movie: Heath Ledger Is The Joker

I've got several problems with this one. Why revive The Joker when jack Nicholson's manic portrayal is still so firmly etched in everyone's mind? It's a no-win situation for actor Heath Ledger, who obviously will put his own spin on the role. Further, they're calling the Christian Bale-starred sequel "The Dark Knight." Unless you're doing a direct adaptation of the classic Batman storyline by Frank Miller that revived the character, you shouldn't go within a hundred miles of that iconic, defining title.
