Weekend Movie Sneak Peek

Here's the Box Office Prophet rundown for the weekend, with "Talladega Nights' sure to be the big winner. I wouldn't be surprised if "Pirates" stole back into second place; I've heard nothing but yawns about "Miami Vice." But my one prediction is another against-the-grain one about "The Descent." BOP predicts $6.1 mil, which seems crazily low to me. The TV ads are great and the reviews have been surprisingly friendly. Besides, hasn't it been a few weeks since a decent horror movie appeared? I'll bet it does at least double that: say $12 mil. If I'm right again, THAT would be scary.
