NASCAR's Growth Slows
This is only natural, as most of the people say in the USA Today cover story on NASCAR. And they're right. Anyone expecting NASCAR to continue its massive growth spurt forever is an idiot. But NASCAR has made the same mistake that plagues baseball, and tennis and a lot of other major sports. Its season runs far too long and the events themselves are far too drawn out. They got greedy and nothing is going to make them cut back on a NASCAR season that stretches from February to November, even if it hurts the long-term growth of the sport.
