James Bond Has A New Theme Song

Chris Cornell of Soundgarden and Audioslave will record the newest James Bond theme. (I guess the grungester ties in with the movie's tougher outlook.) Often, the song usses the title of the film, but in this case it will be called "You Know My Name." The first (and only) Bond song to hit #1? Duran Duran's "A View To A Kill." My favorite is of course "Goldfinger" by Shirley Bassey. You should hear my mellow, lounge act version.

"Nobody Does It Better" by Carly Simon is by far the best followed by "Live and Let Die" by McCartney.

Live and let Die is very much tied in spirit with Goldfinger. Nobody Does It better is a notch down with Tom Jones doing Thunderball and kd lang's very under-appreciated Tomorrow Nevr Knows (very Shirley Bassey, that one). I think I love Goldfinger because I have this crazy, mellow acoustic version by the songwriter that is totally hilarious.
