Obnoxious Dads, Part II

Below is a posting about director M. Night Shyamalan and his obnoxious dad. But maybe driven superstars need obnoxious dads. Here's a quote from the July 17, 2006 Sports Illustrated with the Mets on the cover. In a feature on Andre Agassi by Gary Smith, Smith writes, "Andre's first phone call after he finally wins that first Slam at Wimbledon? Dad. Dad's first words? Should've won in four sets." Ouch.
