Tower Records About To Fall Down

Still facing bankruptcy, Tower records is in serious danger of closing down for good. I'm already heartbroken about the loss of the London Tower Records in Picadilly Circus. (Virgin is a very poor substitute.) But if Tower leaves its two Manhattan locations I will be at a serious loss -- going there was one of the things I did the day I arrived in New York City. Maybe NYCD could take over the space at 63rd and Broadway?
