“It was challenging on several levels,” said Erik Storey, vice president of programming at Sci Fi. “Each of the Webisode chapters had to be close-ended, with a beginning, a middle and an end, and each of those chapters is going to be three minutes, four minutes. And there had to be a little cliffhanger ending for each one.”And of course there's the tricky issue of expecting the talent to create all this material for free. The WGA don't like that.

"Battlestar: Galactica " Alert
I just got the first three episodes of the new season. Can't wait to watch them but I've just started to rewatch the entire series. (And it's even better from the start than I remember.) And for those who can't wait, SciFi has 10 webisodes that take place between last season and this. Here's an indication of how tricky something like this can be for them:
