A Whiter Shade Of Plagiarism

Procol Harum's "A Whiter Shade Of Pale" hit #1 in May of 1967. Now, almost 40 years later, the band's keyboardist Matthew Fisher suddenly announces he co-wrote the song, coming up with that famous organ melody. Mind you, Fisher says he stole THAT idea from a piece by Bach. Fisher left the band in 2003. Really, the song hits #1 and is by far the band's biggest hit for decades and you never bother to mention until now that you co-wrote it? Seems a bit dodgy to me.
