Primetime Preview

VCR Alert: If you tape "ER," watch out. Tonight it begins at 9:55 p.m., so if you don't get home in time you're gonna miss the first five minutes of the show. Thanks NBC!

Reality fans can enjoy round two of ABC's "Dancing With The Stars" while NBC debuts another so-so sitcom "Four Kings" with a cast led by Seth Green that's far better than the material. Fred Savage comes back to TV in "Crumbs" at 9:30 on ABC, with Jane Curtin as his wacky (make that really wacky) mom -- she's mentally unbalanced and what could be a funnier premise for a sitcom than that? The critics have generally panned it. "The OC" is new, but I've lost interest; I'll stick with "My Name Is Earl." Richboy keeps talking up "The Office," saying it's finally hit its stride and become different enough from the brilliant British version that it can actually be enjoyed. Is he right? And everybody hates when "Everybody Hates Chris" is a repeat.
