You could travel the world going to film festival after film festival and never have to go home. The noir film festival in San Francisco would be one of the few that would make you glad you did it. I don't quite understand why everyone is so puzzled why noir is popular: cynicism always ages well, much better than cock-eyed optimism or deadly seriousness. A bleak outlook on life?
