Overnight TV Ratings -- "7th" Heaven

"Desperate Housewives" scored big numbers with a dramatic episode centering around a grocery store shoot-out. Maybe I should start watching again. "7th Heaven" is proving good Sunday night counter-programming on the floundering CW, despite being surrounded by reruns. Meanwhile, "The Simpsons" did its annual Treehouse of Horror -- for me, the fact that NONE of them were particularly funny is pretty depressing. Maybe they're putting all of their creative thoughts into the movie. But even if it COULD chug along for another ten years, surely this show should call it a day and let the movie seem special.
