Kyra Sedgwick Stays Close To "The Closer"

Actress Kyra Sedgwick signs a new contract to stay with her hit drama "The Closer" for four more seasons. Per Hollywood Reporter, the $250,000 to $300,000 she'll be getting per episode makes Sedgwick one of the highest paid actresses on TV. Since no woman dominates a hit sitcom (where much bigger paydays can be had), I guess that's true. It's a fun, eccentric role that's often better than the mysteries she solves, much like the more comic Monk. But more power to her.
