Biopic of Sci-Fi Author Philip K. Dick In The Works

Paul Giamatti is circling the project, which would tell the story of the author behind classics like "Blade Runner." I'd rather see a bio-pic of sci-fi author James Triptree Jr. a celebrated sci-fi author who hid the fact that he was actually a woman named Alice B. Sheldon. Sheldon didn't start writing until she was 51 years old, enjoyed two open marriages to varying degrees (“Anyone who shoots a real gun at you when drunk and angry is simply not husband material, regardless of his taste in literature,” she said of the first, according to the New York Times), worked for the Pentagon, went on to a sci-fi career that beguiled and fooled Dick and Ursula K. Le Guin among others and then killed herself at 71. Now THAT'S a movie.
