Luke Perry Comes To Rescue Of Shannen Doherty

Season one of "Beverly Hills 90210" -- a show which I know a shocking amount of info about -- is coming out on DVD and most everyone showed up for the party to celebrate its release. The cast debated whether they should: since the show began so many years ago, their contracts didn't anticipate DVDs and they won't see a penny from the sales. But rightly, they all decided they should show some support for the show that made them famous. All of them, that is, except for Luke Perry and Shannen Doherty. It was nice of Luke to stay away; if he hadn't, Shannen would have been the lone bad girl and branded for her meanness all over again.
