Just after receiving a full-season pickup, "Friday Night Ligfhts" does itself no favors by hitting a series low in viewers. Obviously, it was facing the finals of "Dancing With The Stars," the hottest show on TV right now. Marc Berman of MediaWeek says that "FNL" will likely move to Sundays, which is NOT good news. Yes, it takes the place of Sunday Night Football on NBC and -- presumably -- the quality family drama timeslot held by the late lamented "American Dreams." But it will be facing already in place family fare like "7th Heaven" and "The Amazing Race." I still say it should be a spring series airing on...Friday nights.
