Faint Praise Indeed

TV shows on DVD may now account for $4 billion of the DVD market. So it's no surprise that even flops like the recent Night Stalker remake get put out on DVD. Why not? There aren't enough episodes to syndicate it, so at least fans can get a taste of their series. Creator Frank Spotnitz certainly doesn't go out on a limb when boasting about the four unaired episodes on the new boxed set.
He feels vindicated that all 10 episodes will be on the DVD: "The last four are among the best we ever did."
Wow. The last four are among the best they ever did. Since they only did ten, that means what, they're better than one or two of the first six?

I'm sure they are among the best he ever did. And the worst.
