Open Thread

Off to see Sweeney Todd with Michael Cerversis and Patti Lupone and then Mass, while I DVR all the commercials around the Super Bowl.

It was a terrific production. Probably the single most satisfying production since seeing Passion, which was the first original Sondheim show I've ever seen. (All the others being revivals or known quantities.) Did you see it in NY or London? I thought Manoel Felciano was great.

BY the way, Felciano is doing a solo show at Ars Nova, if you live in New York. Monday is sold out, but Monday the 13 has just been added.
