"South Park" Scientology Episode Will Finally Air Again

Comedy Central finally bowed to the inevitable -- they previously pulled a repat of an episode mocking Scientology called "Trapped in the Closet." But now that it's won an Emmy nomination, they're finally going to re-air it next Wednesday. The show's creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone say they would have quit working on the show if the episode had been pulled forever from circulation. Again, just like the organizers of that Lifebeat concert mentioned below, Comedy central execs refuse to admit they made a mistake and insist it was just the show's time to air again.

Trey Parker, Matt Stone and Tom Cruise are the creators of a plan to promote both South Park and Scientology! Are you sure that they are not all great friends?

That's the best conspiracy theory I've heard in ages!
