Will Johnny Cash Conquer England?

It takes a while, but here's a link to the UK box office charts for LAST weekend. Brokeback Mountain is doing quite well -- it's grossed more money than any movies listed except for the mega-blockbusters Narnia, King Kong, and Harry Potter. Opening this weekend is the oddball documentary Grizzly Man, the disposable Zathura (rarely ahve such unique and entertaining picture books been turned into such generic movies) and Walk The Line. Will the Man in Black pack 'em in in Blighty? I say yes.

Do the British even know country music or will Joaquin have to be the draw?

Not many singles on the pop charts of course, but Folsom Prison live abum went to Number Two and he charted again the 90s with a greatest hits collection. I think they recognize him pretty well.
