Overnight TV Ratings -- "Studio 60" Finally Stabilizes

Ok, so "Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip" returned to Mondays at 10 p.m. It managed to basically equal its ratings from two weeks ago by scoring 7.78 million viewers. But that is LESS than "Friday Night Lights" scored a week ago, when it was watched by 8.29 million viewers -- not to mention another 3+ million viewers for a repeat the next night. In the fairest comparison, "FNL" held onto 56% of its lead-in and "Studio 60" held onto 54%. Not a big difference, but big enough. The gap is even bigger in the coveted 18-49 demo: "FNL" held onto 55% of them, "Studio 60" only 50%. For complete results, go to MediaWeek's Marc Berman.
