Wilco has a new album -- "Sky Blue Sky" -- coming out May 15 on Nonesuch and whatever you think it will sound like, apparently you're wrong.(How do they know that?)
Kanye West is collaborating with Chris Martin of Coldplay (though not perhaps Martin's wife) on his new CD, as well as reunting with Jon Brion, which is wise.
I dig Nashville Star alum Miranda Lambert, who rocked the show with her new single "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" and has a new CD out May 1 on which she wrote or cowrote most of the songs.
And finally Bjork remains effortlessly cool. Her new album comes out in the spring (she can't be held to deadlines; this isn't PRODUCT for heaven's sake, it's music) and her collaboraters include Timbaland, Antony of Antony and the Johnsons, Toumani Diabate, Konono No. 1, and a guy from Lightning Bolt, a band so cool I've never even heard of them.
