Italian Atheist Sues Priest Over Existence of Jesus
A great idea for a movie. (Maybe it could end with the atheist coming home after the trial and finding a shepherd's crook resting in a corner.) Where's Frank Capra when you need him?
"Cascioli says that Christ never existed," Righi wrote. "If he (Cascioli) doesn't see the sun at midday, he shouldn't denounce me just because I do see it."
I still don't see how he proves damages, though they hinted at the Italian laws that might apply. If Jesus Christ didn't exist, what would heathens say when they wanted to curse?
