Michael Jackson Linked To Tribute To Pope John Paul II

Reuters UK is reporting that Michael Jackson may take part in a tribute to the deceased Pope John Paul II which it is hoped will feature international pop stars singing 24 of the Pope's prayers they would set to music. It quotes the head of the project, Fr. Moscati, as saying Michael Jackson's people have contacted him. And what about the child sex abuses charges that have dogged Jackson for decades? "He has been cleared of all charges," Moscati said breezily. What does he care, as long as Jackson can lure other celebs? (Proving he hasn't a clue, since Jackson's presence would drive away other celebs.) "As a celebrity he is perhaps a bit remote from the teachings contained in the Pope's prayers. But if he can help us put together a group of singers that fulfill the criteria of the project then we'll study the proposal," he said. How sadly appropriate that they just don't care.
