The Screen Actors Guild announced their nominations today. It's always good to keep in mind that the actors make up the biggest votiong block at the Academy Awards. (Last year, there were 5808 Academy voters and 1277 of them were actors.) The nominations for Outstanding Performance By A Cast (their equivalent to Best Picture):
"Babel"
"Bobby"
"The Departed"
"Dreamgirls"
"Little Miss Sunshine"
You can't rule out "Bobby" quite yet, but the support is pretty thin: there were no individual nominations for Sharon Stone or Demi Moore or any of the other cast members from that movie. The Hollywood Reporter has the story.
