"A Chorus Line" -- The Reviews

The New York Times says the initial thrill at seeing the show again quickly fades. The New York Post says of course it doesn't have the joy of discovery, but it's still great fun. The New York Post headlines its review "Embalming Fluidity" but gives it two and a half stars, especially for people who've never seen it before. Time Magazine is delighted the show doesn't seem dated. And Variety says it's a lovingly mounted replica. Sounds like it will skip right past the New York crowd and appeal to the tourists.
