Overnight TV Ratings -- "Friday Night Lights" Out

Now the terrific "Friday Night Lights" is in serious trouble. NBC needs to pull the show immediately and re-launch it in the spring. Imagine: airing a show called "Friday Night Lights" on Friday night starting in January. Then, all the families who would normally go to a high school football game on Fridays in the fall could watch a show about that very same thing on Friday nights. It's so obvious, it's no wonder NBC hasn't thought of it. You can watch the second episode at NBC.com. (It includes commercials.) Maybe you can watch the pilot too, but I couldn't find it there. And maybe I spoke too soon about "Veronica Mars." It's not doing too spiffy either.
