New Novel Due From "Kite Runner" Author

I still see people on the subway reading "The Kite Runner" by Khaled Hosseini. That's the story of two boys growing up in Kabul, the capitol of Afghanistan. It sold very modestly in hardcover but became a runaway hit -- and book club favorite -- in paperback. Hosseini's new book is called "A Thousand Splendid Suns" and is due out in the spring.
