Handler, playing his accordion, led the crowd in a fast-paced sing-along of "Scream and Run Away," during which the audience was instructed to stomp their feet while singing the refrain "Run, run, run, run, run, run, run" and to slump in their seats as they sang, "Or die, die, die, die, die, die, die, die."
[Later, one little girl] reported that when she approached Handler to have her book signed, he asked her, "Have you ever been kidnapped?"
"No," she responded.
"You are going to be kidnapped tomorrow," he informed her.

Lemony Snicket's Swan Song
I'm on Book Ten, I think, so I haven't read the final Unfortunate End for the Baudelaire children. But how can you not enjoy the goofy fun that author Daniel Handler is having on his book tour?
